Is Bridge Clinic a free clinic?
Bridge Clinic offers sliding fee discounts, payment plans, and free financial counseling to eligible individuals. We are not a free clinic, but we may be a very affordable option for many patients.
How is Bridge Clinic funded?
We receive funding from the State and Federal government to support high quality services for our patients. We’re called a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC.) The rest of our funding is from service charges, just like any other clinic.
Are your care providers real providers?
Yes! Our providers all have the same board certifications and licensure required by State and Federal law. They are very committed individuals who believe that everyone deserves great health care, regardless of their financial situation. We have a caring and professional team of Medical Doctors (MD), Physical Assistants (PAs), Advance Practice Nurse Practitioners (APNPs), Dentists (DDSs and DMDs), and certified assistant staff.
I don’t have health insurance. Can Bridge Clinic help me?
We have many choices for those who need affordable care. We offer payment plans for all patients and discounts according to your income level. Our Patient Financial Advocates will talk with you about all of your options. They are specially trained to assist you with your financial needs. You may even qualify for Medicaid, and they can help you sign up! If you are already on Medicaid, your copays will be extremely low.
I have health insurance. Can Bridge Clinic help me?
Of course! Bridge Clinic provides affordable quality services for anyone who chooses to be our patient. Many people have high deductibles. Bridge Clinic can help by providing payment plans and/or with reduced charges for eligible patients. Each patient, regardless of income, can talk with our Patient Financial Advocate for guidance. We accept most major local insurances including Health Insurance Marketplace plans.
I am on BadgerCare/Medical Assistance/MA or Medicare. How can Bridge help me?
We accept and welcome all medical assistance plans. Our providers are very familiar with our State’s Medicaid and Medicare systems and their requirements.
