Financial Assistance

Financial assistance available from Bridge Community ClinicWhile Bridge Clinic is not a “free clinic”, we do offer you many financial options:

  • Insurance:
    • Medicare (for Medical appointments only)
    • Medicaid / BadgerCare (for all appointment types)
    • Private insurance (whether from your employer, a privately owned policy, or from the Healthcare Marketplace)
  • Cash, Check, Credit/Debit Card
  • Vouchers from local assistance agencies

If you do not have insurance, a Patient Financial Advocate (PFA) will meet with you about our sliding fee discount program. A “sliding fee discount” means that the clinic’s service charges are reduced by a set percentage (%), based on your income and family size.

In order to process a sliding fee application, we will need proof of your income. If you have no income, the minimum you would need to pay is $25.00 for Medical and Behavioral Health services and $35.00 for Dental services. This minimum payment does not include any portion of your payment responsibility, whether for co-payments or the portion of the service not covered by your sliding fee discount. The PFA will also check to see if you qualify for any insurance plans.

If you have insurance, please be prepared to pay your co-payments at the time of your appointment. We will bill your insurance for your visit. You will be asked to pay any fees not paid by your insurance carrier. Our PFAs will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have and help you set up a payment plan, if needed.
